Background
I have a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University and I am licensed by the State of California as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
In my commitment to providing the most effective therapy for my clients, I continue to learn through attending classes, seminars, and conferences. I routinely build on my foundation of clinical skills by participating in on-going consultation with other therapists, reading professional journals as well as relevant books and articles. I am a member of CAMFT (California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists) and SCV-CAMFT (Santa Clara Valley Chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists).
Since 2002, I have worked as adjunct faculty at Santa Clara University providing group therapy to counseling psychology students in the masters program. I have extensive training and experience providing therapy for anxiety, depression, life transition difficulties, stress, healing from abuse, communication, and spiritual issues.
